My daughter had this on her left eye when she was about 6yrs old.

They RUSHED her to an ophthalmologist to make sure the optic nerve was not damaged. Shingles travels in the nervous system. Just a heads up,that you ask your Doc about this if it is in the area near your eye and above.

Get well it's no fun.

Thanks for the advice. I know someone else that had it in the eye and his best advice on Saturday was go see an Opthamologist too. I phone around this morning and located one that would see me straight away. So far so good, but issue can occur a couple of weeks down the track. Have an appointment in two weeks as a follow up.

Regards,

Fleetz

We'll see you all at the Stag front bar at 6:30 pm.
We're looking forward to a fun time, and trying that "Pigs on Fire" BBQ.
We're not sure what Dutch Style BBQ is, but I guess we'll find out (Dutch oven perhaps????)
We saw those heads roasting the other day, hmmmmmm, not sure about that !!!

Cheers

What an excellent night with great company! :)

Interesting Factoid #1 : The Dutch don't speak German

Interesting Factoid #2 : The height of a man is inversely proportional to the amount of hair on his legs

Interesting Factioid #3 : Always order the Combo!

* You'll have to hit Dave up for an explanation.

Can't wait to do it again!!

If we are missing one I'm sure there are enough from other events to fill the space :)

Thanks for a great evening everyone !!!! A special thanks to Dave for organizing it.
Jackie and I had a wonderful time.
Dave, Kim, Garth, Jared, Wayne & Jan - you have all been added to our BBQ family. We have that bond of smoke in the veins, and sauce on our faces.
We just have to figure out how we can arrange to be at the American Royal to meet up again.

We're here in Adelaide for two more weeks, then back to Canada and the start of our BBQ Competition season.
Today I put out our Call for Judges for the season opener, The Big Red Barn Burner, the 29 & 30 of March. I wish you could all be there.

We'll keep in touch on this Aussie Pitmasters Forum.
If you ever have any questions regarding competitions, or BBQ in general we'd be more than happy to join in, answer or discuss.

When we return to Adelaide in the future we must get together again. We'd love to be able to attend a BBQ event here.

Always remember to "Do it low and Slow" and "It's done, when it's done".

Cheers,
Mayben & Jackie Amos (aka: Ribtickler)
