Pitmasters,

Late addition to an event in melbourne however this unday is MEATOPIA (cool name right)
well, huxtaburger and fancy hanks will be cooking up some meaty goodness, my fiance and i will be there eating/drinking up a storm.

Standout of the day was the chicken ribs from huxteburger.
Fancy hanks ribs were a little undercooked and over smoked for my pallet and pork a bit dry however their pomegranate coleslaw was nice and the cornbread wasn't too far behind.

he wasnt selling pickled ocras but i love those things, meatmother do them amazingly.

I'm pretty sure the over-smoked flavour you tasted was liquid smoke that fancy hanks uses.... (at least they used to use it)
